Fashion Films

These are my fashion films, where diverse cultural influences meet creative storytelling. Shaped by my journey across Singapore, Vietnam, Tokyo, and now London, my unique background drives my approach to both styling and filmmaking. Through my films, I aim to showcase not only my technical skills behind the camera but also my ability to craft visuals that reflect a fusion of global perspectives. Each piece is a reflection of my passion for blending fashion, culture, and digital production.

Threads of Time; Fashioning an Escape

"Threads of Time: Fashioning an Escape" captures the progression of days during the COVID-19 lockdown, where each outfit reflects a moment in time and an emotional shift. As routines blurred and time felt suspended, I turned to fashion as a creative outlet, using clothing to escape the monotony and express my evolving moods. This video is both a reflection on how style helped me navigate isolation and a testament to fashion’s power to transform even the most confined moments into something meaningful.

Randoseru Reimagined: A Fusion of Japan and Vietnam

In my portfolio for London College of Fashion, I designed a Japanese randoseru featuring intricate origami details on the exterior, symbolizing the precision and artistry of Japanese culture. Inside, I incorporated elements inspired by Vietnam, reflecting my upbringing and the deep connection I have with both cultures. This design serves as a personal narrative, blending two cultural identities into one piece, highlighting how my multicultural background shapes my creative vision and approach to fashion.
